I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am a firm believer in network marketing.  The power of the internet has changed network marketing from days past and empowered it to become a viable home business solution for many people looking for such an opportunity.  However, network marketing even in the era of the internet, is NOT a get rich quick scheme.  This however, is a good thing...most get rich quick schemes don't work anyway.  To make a go at network marketing you can invest time or money...but it is going to take one or the other. 

The great news is that by harnessing the power of the internet you have the capabilities to grow your business at a rate that most network marketers could not even have imagined just a few years ago.  Successful network marketing takes persistence, education, and a belief in the power of the system.  I have read one statistic that stated that 90% of people who get involved with network marketing quit within the first year.  Of the 10% that remained involved, 8% became millionaires within the next 2 years.  It is my contention that this 8% believed in the power of the system and never lost faith.  Faith is believing in something, even if you can't see it, feel it, or touch it.....yet.  They did not let anyone tell them that it would not work...when people told them it would not work they just worked harder and MADE it happen.

I will spend a lot of time on this website trying to help fellow network marketers make their dreams come true, just as I am attempting to make my own dreams come true.  We are a thousand times more powerful when we work together. 

Some things I must say about network marketing that I believe are very important:

1.  When deciding which opportunity to take advantage of pick the one that has a product or service that you see the value in or that interest you.  If you are excited about it, this is going to show when you share your opportunity or product with others.  I am a registered nurse and I am into health and fitness...that is how I became involved with Vemma.  I tried their product in hopes of finding a good supplement and discovered a great one, then I decided to get involved in the business.  I can not say enough good things about the Vemma Nutrition Program. 

2.  Stay focused.  Know in your mind and your heart what you are working towards.  You may have to remind yourself of this a times.  Remember you are working towards building the life of your dreams.  This does not happen over night.

3.  IMPORTANT!!!  When you are deciding on which opportunity is right for you make sure you think about your upline (the person that signs you up) .  Your upline doesn't have to be the biggest, but you need to make sure that they are there to help you when you are feeling lost.  There are many opportunities out there where your upline will get you enrolled and then you never hear from them again.  Or they are not straight with you on what it is going to take to be successful.  This is unfortunate for you and just plain bad business for them.  The wonderful thing about network marketing is we all get to be successful together.  I have a vested interest in the individuals in my downline and want them to be successful.  We share in that success.  There are a lot of good people involved in network marketing, who are going to do what it takes to see their downline succeed...just make sure to do your homework.  A good rule of thumb when you are looking at an internet based business is to get someone on the phone, before you sign up.  If you can't get them on the phone when you are trying to sign up, there is a good chance you are not going to get them on the phone when you have questions or problems.

4.  Don't let the pessimistic people of the world get you down.  There will always be someone  out there that is going to tell you that network marketing is a scam or that your product is a joke.  If your product works for you how can anyone tell you that it does not have value?  When this happens stop and look at the person you are talking to....are they living the life that you want to live?  Do they have a residual income that allows them to work from home?  Do they take vacations with their family and friends whenever they want to?  Remember, model yourself after people you want to be like.  Do the things that these people do and you will find yourself living like they live.  This is true whether you model yourself after the pessimist, the optimist or the guy that has been there and succeeded already.  Remember, people who can't do something, love to tell those of us who can do it, why it can't be done.

Let me take a minute and get down off of my soap box....it used to be harder to get down from there prior to the Vemma let me tell you....I had the knees of a 70 year old man.  The bottom line is you will accomplish whatever YOU accomplish in life.  Have faith...faith in God, faith in yourself, faith in your upline, faith in the system.  All things are possible if you truly believe.
